Advertising Sales Director - Wine & Spirits Magazine

We represent an international publisher a magazine in print and digital formats, containing in depth analysis of all the major issues in beer, wine and spirits. With expansion plans in Asia, they are now looking for an Experienced Media Sales Manager/Director for their Pan Asian subsidiary, who is able to fuel growth in the region.



  • You will be responsible for growing company revenue through magazine and website advertising sales in the Asia Pacific regions.
  • You will proactively research and secure new clients, with a view of on-going strategic business development within these accounts
  • You will travel in the region to remain abreast of industry trends and topics of interest
  • It is key that you attend industry events and networking sessions
  • Your performance will be measured on achievement of incremental sales targets for the region
  • You will drive growth for the region and within your team


  • Fluency in English & Mandarin
  • 4 years plus media sales experience with a strong understanding of advertising sales
  • Direct experience in the Wine/Spirits industry would be ideal, but not essential
  • A keen interest in lifestyle and social media aspects
  • Exceptional direct sales, strategic business development and commercial management skills
  • Outstanding relationship building and networking skills
  • The drive and passion to excel in a target driven environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently. Some travel and face-to-face sales may be required.
